- No repair work begins without customer authorization of a written estimate.
- If teardown reveals additional damage, we prepare a supplement and obtain your authorization (or your insurer's, where you direct us to work with them) before performing additional work.
- You may request the return of replaced parts, provided the request is made at the time the work order is placed. Warranty, exchange, and core-charge parts may need to be returned to the supplier.
- The final invoice may differ from the initial estimate only with documented, authorized supplements.
4Parts
Depending on the repair plan, vehicle age, insurer requirements, and your authorization, repairs may use new original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts, new aftermarket parts, or quality recycled (used) parts. Any non-OEM crash parts used in a repair are identified on the estimate or invoice as required by California law.
5Workmanship Warranty
Garage 13 warrants its collision repair workmanship, including metalwork and paint application, for as long as the original repair customer owns the vehicle, unless otherwise stated in writing on the invoice.
- Parts are covered by their respective manufacturers' warranties.
- The warranty does not cover subsequent damage, new accidents, misuse, neglect, alteration of the repair, rust or corrosion from later damage, or normal wear.
- The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the vehicle and repair identified on the invoice.
- Warranty service requires presenting the repair invoice and returning the vehicle to our facility.
6Payment, Vehicle Release, Storage & Personal Property
Payment for repairs, including any deductible owed under an insurance claim, is due in full when repairs are completed and before the vehicle is released.
- Vehicles left at the facility more than a reasonable period after notice of completion may accrue daily storage charges at posted rates.
- Unpaid repair and storage charges may be subject to lien rights under California Civil Code §3068.
- Please remove personal belongings before drop-off. Garage 13 is not responsible for personal property left in vehicles.
